The Rowley Memorial
Masonic Retirement Home was founded by Herman L. Rowley to support
Masonry in Iowa.
Introduction
The beautiful Rowley Memorial
Masonic Home and Independent Living Apartments are located on
approximately thirty-six acres at the east edge of Perry in central
Iowa. A visit to the Rowley Masonic Community and becoming acquainted
with the residents and the competent and caring staff will attest that
we are truly "A Home with a Heart."
Activities and Services
for Residents
Residents may choose from
various craft activities, programs, parties, exercises, games, outings
and shopping trips in our wheelchair-accessible bus.
Church services are provided twice weekly and communion monthly in
the Irene Lundy Memorial Chapel, located on the Home grounds.
Complete laundry, housekeeping, maintenance service and beauty and
barber shop are provided for our residents, as well as free
transportation to local health care options (physicians, optometrists,
dentists, podiatrists, etc.) even if the resident is confined to a
wheelchair.
Meals are prepared and served with special diets in mind under the
supervision of a licensed dietician and food service director.
Our Staff
The Rowley Memorial Masonic
Home is staffed with dedicated, caring and well-trained individuals
who are committed to providing an excellent quality of life for our
residents.
Employees are carefully selected in an effort to secure the best and
most qualified individuals available. After joining our family of
health care professionals, new employees receive proper orientation
training, continuing education and direction.
The home employs R.N.'s and L.P.N.'s as well as service, business and
administrative staff.
