History of the Home

Watering Flowers
The home was established through the generosity of Brother Herman L. Rowley in 1955 and operates under a trust agreement among the Grand Lodge of Iowa, Otley Lodge No. 299 AF&AM and the District Court of Dallas County, Iowa.  Services are provided to all residents without regard to race, color, national origin, sex, age or mental or physical handicap. 
 

Flowers are part of the beautiful 36-acres that form the Home's grounds

 

 

Irene Lundy Chapel

 

Church services are provided twice weekly and communion is held monthly in our Beautiful Irene Lundy Memorial Chapel, which was dedicated in November 1984.

The Chapel is connected to the main facility by a heated walkway allowing year-around visits for residents.
